Classes

At Brillando DC, children have the freedom to create art at their own pace. It is their choice to finish, walk away, and or come back later to finish their art. They have the freedom to switch gears and do something completely different. It is their voice, their choice.

Themes

Themes included in our program include continents and countries and their artists, historic characters, artistic expressions, nature, animals, and food.

Art Workshop

Creative invitations for children to expand their imagination!

Cooking

Food preparation and projects for children to expand their language, math concepts, cultural experiences, and introduction to new flavors and motors skills.

Theatre

Introducing expression through pretend playing, dressing-up, puppets, and shadows.

Music

Folk dancing, folk music, instruments to experiment with sounds, tempos, and notes.

Yoga and Mindfulness

Introducing tools for the mind and peace.

Manipulative

Increasing their espacial mathematical mind through legos, blocks, and other manipulatives that allow children to increase their imagination.

Nature Walks

Rock Creek Park is a 10 minute walk from our facility. This park allows children to explore nature and become aware of their surroundings. Children use all their senses to understand the world and be respectful of their environment.
